NEW DELHI: Delhi Police conducted a medical potency test on television actor Ashish Kapoor at AIIMS on Friday in connection with a rape case filed against him. The test results will serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation after his arrest in Pune earlier this week.The actor was apprehended after police tracked his movements across multiple locations. The arrest stems from a complaint filed by a woman at the Civil Lines police station in Delhi.The woman alleged that Kapoor sexually assaulted her in a bathroom during a house party in Delhi in the second week of August. Following her complaint, an FIR was registered on August 11, prompting police to launch a search operation.Police officials revealed that the woman’s initial complaint named other individuals alongside Kapoor in the alleged rape. However, she later modified her statement to accuse only Kapoor of the assault.The authorities are seeking legal opinion on the matter due to the changes in the woman’s statement. Delhi Police confirmed they are investigating the case thoroughly from all possible angles.The case remains under active investigation as police continue to gather evidence and examine all aspects of the incident.
