Navi Mumbai: The state’s urban development minister, Madhuri Misal, said in the legislative assembly on Thursday that the civic body and Cidco have taken action against 11,890 illegal structures in Navi Mumbai.Misal said the corporation issued 870 notices in cases of illegal construction. Of these, action was taken against 340 illegal structures and 3,133 illegal huts. A total of 126 cases have been registered. She said Cidco issued 10,160 notices, demolished 8,417 encroachments, and registered four cases.
