With women lined up at mehendi stalls and festive bling all around, celebrations for Karwa Chauth are in full swing. To mark the occasion, the Greater Kailash 2 Traders’ Welfare Association hosted a grand fest at M-Block Market, bringing together families to kick off both Karwa Chauth and Diwali.

From gift hampers and diyas to jewellery and candle holders, the fest offered a wide range of festive gifting and shopping options. “This is the third year that we’ve come back, and the response has been great,” shared Gauri Sharma from Sanskriti, a jewellery stall at the fest.

Women spent the evening pampering themselves with mehendi, food and some well-deserved retail therapy. “There’s so much to explore and so many fun activities. We celebrate Karwa Chauth at home but make sure to attend this mela every year,” said Aastha Gupta, a homemaker.

“It’s a great community activity when everyone comes together to enjoy the festivities. We’ve specially curated an area for kids so that the parents, especially mothers can enjoy,” said Ranjit Bhasin, chairman of the association.
