New Delhi: A 22-year-old shopkeeper was allegedly robbed of Rs 14 lakh at gunpoint and knifepoint by three people inside his store in northwest Delhi’s Model Town area on Friday.According to police, a PCR call was received following the incident, after which a team was dispatched to the spot in Model Town III.Upon reaching the location, officers met the complainant, who runs a print and documents store in the area. He told police that he was alone in the shop when three unidentified young men entered the premises on the pretext of getting their Aadhaar details updated.The shopkeeper alleged that shortly after entering, one of the accused bolted the door from inside to prevent anyone from coming in. Another allegedly took out a firearm and pointed it at him, while the third brandished a knife and threatened him. They reportedly fled with Rs 14 lakh cash, police said. Police have registered a case at the Model Town police station under sections of the BNS pertaining to robbery. CCTV footage from the shop and nearby areas is being examined to identify and trace the accused.
