NEW DELHI: Senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday hailed the court’s decision to acquit former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and senior leader Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case, describing the verdict as a “victory of truth” and a decisive rebuttal to what they called a politically motivated campaign against the party. The ruling triggered sharp political reactions, with AAP leaders asserting that the allegations had failed to stand judicial scrutiny.“Truth alone triumphs. Who hatched a conspiracy to defame the country’s most popular honest Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the most capable honest Education Minister Manish Sisodia, and the finest honest party AAP. Our leaders were tortured in jail.
