Baba Vanga, the late Bulgarian mystic, grabs attention time and again for her prophecies. Though she passed away in 1996, her predictions on famous events and personalities continue to gain widespread media attention. Some have pointed towards Baba Vanga’s comments that indicate she foresaw events like the coronavirus pandemic and 9/11. Now, a new prophecy attributed to the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’ has surfaced.

According to reports, Baba Vanga claimed that AI would play a big role in 2026, moving beyond human capabilities and reshaping economies. Not just that, she also claimed that humans would make first contact with aliens in November 2026. Many people are now linking her prophecy to US President Donald Trump’s decision to release all classified records related to aliens and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

Baba Vanga never wrote down her predictions. Most of the accounts have come from Krasimira Stoyanova, her niece, or other followers who heard and wrote down the mystic’s alleged visions after her death. Some of the claims attributed to the Bulgarian seer have been proven wrong, like her prediction of a UFO sighting at a major event.

However, President Trump’s recent move has once again thrust her claims into the spotlight. Baba Vanga believed that a ‘massive spacecraft’ would enter Earth’s atmosphere in November 2026, serving as undeniable proof of extraterrestrial life. However, the intentions of the spacecraft were never revealed. Some interpretations state that the alien spaceship could start World War III.

Baba Vanga had also warned of increasing tensions between global powers like China, Russia and the US. She reportedly had visions about Earth’s connection to aliens and even claimed that humans would start building underwater cities in 2130 with the help of extraterrestrials. She also believed that humans would make contact with more aliens in 2288, and time travel would be invented the same year.

There has been pushback on the prophecies, especially on the one related to artificial intelligence. Experts have claimed that there is no connection between what the Bulgarian mystic predicted and the recent layoffs in major technology firms. However, with major firms like Amazon and Google cutting about 30,000 jobs across the tech sector in the first 40 days of 2026 alone, there is a sense of panic online about Baba Vanga’s prophecies.

The discussion on Baba Vanga and artificial intelligence is going viral as companies increase AI adoption across sectors. Many firms are now using AI for automated customer service, coding assistance, data processing and decision support systems. This has led to panic among many about massive layoffs. Baba Vanga’s reputation for predicting major world events has led to an added sense of panic among some.

For the year 2026, Baba Vanga also predicted that paper currencies would eventually decrease in value, leading to fears of an economic crisis. A claim attributed to her says that people would start investing in commodities like gold and silver, losing their faith in paper currencies overall. The statements by the late mystic went viral after gold and silver reached record-high prices.

Prophecies by the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’ have been linked to several other major events. She is believed to have vague predictions about political shifts, natural disasters and future technologies. This includes the 9/11 terror attacks, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which killed 2,30,000 people, the rise of the Islamic terror group ISIS and Barack Obama’s election as the US President.

Reportedly, she once claimed that US President would face an illness that would leave him deaf and suffering from a brain tumour. The predictions grabbed attention again in 2024, when Trump was shot at by a 20-year-old in Butler, Pennsylvania, while he was campaigning. The shot resulted in Trump bleeding from one ear and collapsing on the stage. Moments later, he was raising his fists and shouting “Fight! Fight!” as he was escorted by Secret Service agents. The incident was seen as an eerie parallel to Baba Vanga’s prophecy.
