New Delhi: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), led by GMR Aero, launched Family@Del on Thursday, a dedicated initiative aimed at making air travel easier and more comfortable for families at Indira Gandhi International Airport.The programme, operational across terminals 1, 2 and 3 for domestic departures, offers family travellers access to dedicated entry gates, exclusive family check-in counters, priority security lanes and designated seating areas at food courts with curated kids’ menus.Additional facilities include buggy assistance up to boarding gates, complimentary baby strollers, private baby care rooms, passengers with reduced mobility-friendly washrooms and trained family assistance buddies to guide families through the airport. The initiative is designed to support families travelling with infants, elderly passengers and those with restricted mobility.“Family@Del reflects our commitment to a more inclusive and caring airport experience. We designed this initiative to ensure a seamless, stress-free journey for families from the departure forecourt to the boarding gate,” said Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO, DIAL.
