The programme will be conducted in more than one lakh schools across the state, with participation from over two crore students and nearly seven lakh teachers. The drill will be organised after the state and central govt flag unfurling ceremonies and will last approximately 20 minutes.Singh said a standard instructional video for the patriotic drill has been prepared and shared with schools to ensure uniformity. “Adequate arrangements for sound systems, stages, banners, and video recording have been instructed. Schools have also been told to deploy sufficient teachers, sports instructors, NCC cadets, and staff to manage students,” he said.Education officers at all levels have been directed to plan logistics, including ground capacity, student movement, parking, and safety. Public representatives, parents, and local citizens will be invited to witness the event. Schools have also been instructed to upload photos and videos of the programme on the school portal, and principals and class teachers will be responsible for ensuring that students return home safely.
