MUMBAI: Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SCP) MP Supriya Sule and NCP leader Ajit Pawar jointly addressed the press on Saturday at the launch of their joint manifesto for the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad civic body elections. The manifesto focuses on tangible improvements that affect the daily lives of every citizen. From ensuring uninterrupted access to clean water, tackling traffic congestion, building pothole-free roads, strengthening healthcare facilities, to creating a pollution-free PMC, each promise reflects a leadership that truly cares

- Regular cleanliness
- High-tech health facilities
- Pollution-free PMC
Three more tasks are:
- Redevelopment of slums and old buildings

Speaking in Mumbai, Sule expressed confidence in her party’s prospects for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, saying the “atmosphere is very good” and the party was ready to contest with “full strength.” She added, “Work should be done here in a transparent and honest manner, so we are fighting with full strength.”The NCP-SCP released its candidate list for the BMC elections on December 29, covering seven wards across Mumbai. The candidates are:
- Ajit Ravarane – Ward 43
- Sanjay Bhimrao Kamble – Ward 140 (SC)
- Shraddha Javed Despande – Ward 78
- Ganesh Shinde – Ward 48
- Rohini Madan Khanvilkar – Ward 59
- Manju Ravindra Jadhav – Ward 112
Earlier, Ajit Pawar-led NCP Releases First List of 37 Candidates for BMC Elections, to Contest SoloThe Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Friday announced its first list of 37 candidates for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, confirming that the party will contest solo.The initial list includes:

- Cyril Peter D’Souza – Ward 48
- Ahmed Khan – Ward 62
- Baban Ramchandra Madne – Ward 76
