PUNE: Shiv Sena leader Pramod Nana Bhangire reported a stone-pelting incident during an election campaign in a society near Shreeram Chowk, Maharashtra. According to Bhangire, stones were hurled at his car, and the party’s candidate, Sarika Pawar, was also targeted.Speaking about the incident, Bhangire said, “While I was holding a public meeting for election campaigning in a society near Shreeram Chowk, some people pelted stones at my car and also targeted our candidate Sarika Pawar.”He added that the police had reached the spot and were reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits. “The footage will reveal who did this,” Bhangire said.“The police have gone to the spot. The police are checking the CCTV footage there. This is very wrong. This shouldn’t happen, ” Bhangire added.No injuries were reported, and the police have launched an investigation into the matter.(With agency inputs)
