Property dispute leads to 55-year-old’s murder

New Delhi: A 55-year-old man was shot dead over a property sale dispute in Outer Delhi’s Narela. Police apprehended two individuals in connection with the case, who surrendered at the police station and confessed to the murder.The accused were identified as Dinesh Kumar and Bhoop Singh, both residents of village Ghoga. Police claimed the two men approached the station and admitted to killing Dharampal by shooting him with a licenced revolver, which was later seized by the cops.

The victim’s body was recovered near a tubewell on Dinesh’s property. The body showed injuries on the neck and nose.Dharampal’s son, Pardeep (35), later identified the body, while teams from the FSL and the crime team inspected the site to collect evidence.Delhi Police registered a case under sections 103(1) (murder), and 3(5) (common intention) of BNS, along with Section 27 of the Arms Act.Meanwhile, in another case, a man was found dead near the subway on Rohtak Road towards Punjabi Bagh on the evening of Dec 29 last year. The deceased was lying on the footpath with ligature marks around his neck, suggesting a possible homicide.
