Pune: Three peole suffered injuries after a container truck rammed into four vehicles on the Talegaon-Chakan road around 8.30pm on Monday.A gym trainer (27) from Mahalunge, who suffered severe injuries in the accident, lodged a complaint with the police. The Mahalunge MIDC police on Tuesday registered a case against the driver of the container truck.
An officer from the Mahalunge MIDC police said on Monday night around 8.30pm, the victim was driving towards Chakan on his motorcycle for dinner. In an attempt to overtake, a container truck crashed into his motorcycle.“The container truck then rammed into three more vehicles, including two autorickshaws and a motorcycle. One of the autorickshaw drivers and the other biker suffered minor injuries in the accident,” the officer said.He said the container truck was also damaged in the accident. “The driver left the vehicle at the spot and fled. Our investigations are on,” he said.
