New Delhi: Delhi Police‘s crime branch has filed a chargesheet against a key member of the gang headed by fugitive gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu.The accused has been identified as Manoj Yadav alias Kaira. He was earlier arrested under MCOCA and is in judicial custody. He was found to have been a close aide of the gang. He is accused of sharing information with syndicate head Kapil Sangwan that was used for threatening a plot owner in Sector 10 of Gurgaon. He also allegedly supplied weapons for a rival gang member’s murder in Paschim Vihar East, and provided details of a businessman for extortion in Najafgarh.“Manoj Yadav used to supply valuable information on potential targets and was a key facilitator for arms to shooters,” DCP (crime) Harsh Indora said. Manoj had been arrested in a case at the crime branch on Oct 7. Police said he has seven previous cases against him, including murder and bootlegging.
