Christmas came early for children of Little Flowers School in Gurgaon as actress Prachi Tehlan joined them for Delhi Times’ Christmas Carnival

With cakes, gifts, music, and lots of dancing and masti, Prachi Tehlan, known for TV shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, celebrated Christmas with underprivileged children in Gurgaon. Organised by Delhi Times, the Christmas Carnival was held at Little Flowers School in Nathupur Village, a school run by the Rasoi on Wheels Foundation. The children enjoyed games such as musical chairs, Christmas tree decoration, dancing, and getting tattoos as part of the celebration.

Dressed in red for Christmas, Prachi distributed gifts, clicked selfies, sang songs, and spent the afternoon with the children. Sharing her experience, the actress, who has acted in Malayalam hits like Mamangam, said, “It was a wonderful experience being here with these kids. I am happy to see that a brand like Delhi Times planned this initiative to celebrate Christmas with underprivileged children. Celebrating the festival with them was truly heartwarming.”

‘It was all about spreading joy and happiness’Prachi runs the Prachi Tehlan Foundation, which focuses on empowering underprivileged girls and youth through education, women empowerment and grassroots sports, helping them create a better future. At the Delhi event, the highlight of the afternoon for the actress was the energy of the children. “They were so energetic. They had planned performances for us, and they also made me dance. I saw so much talent here, and it was a lot of fun. And with balloons, games, music, and pictures, it was all about spreading joy and happiness,” she said.
