Amadea’s lawyer, Bhalchandra Nikte, told TOI, “We have filed the suit for cancellation of the sale deed.” He, however, refused to go into the details of the matter.Section 31 of the Specific Relief Act, 1963, allows a person or a firm to sue for the cancellation of a written document (like a sale deed or contract) if it’s void or voidable, and they fear serious harm if it remains outstanding.On Dec 3, Pune police’s economic offences wing (EOW) had arrested Tejwani (44) over alleged irregularities linked to suspended tehsildar Suryakant Yeole’s two illegal orders granting ownership rights of the govt land parcels in Mundhwa and Bopodi to private parties. Tejwani is accused of entering a Rs 300-crore deal for the Mundhwa land parcel with Amadea Enterprises LLP.While Parth Pawar has not been named in the FIR, Digvijay Patil was named in the FIR. Tejwani and Patil are also accused in a stamp duty waiver case in the same land deal registered at the Bavdhan police station. The Bavdhan police currently have the police custody remand of Tejwani.
