NEW DELHI: Two brothers were shot dead in a late-night attack in Delhi’s Jafrabad early Tuesday, police said.The incident was reported to Jafrabad Police Station at around 1.40 am.The victims have been identified as Faizal (31), son of Abdul, and his elder brother, Nadeem (33). Police found Faizal dead at the scene, while Nadeem was taken to JPC Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.A case has been registered under Sections 103(1)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.A forensics team has been deployed to collect evidence at the crime scene, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. Police have also launched a manhunt to identify and apprehend the accused.The motive behind the attack is not yet known, and authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
