Pune: In a hit-and-run accident, a 35-year-old man and his son (4) were killed after their two-wheeler was hit by a container truck near Kurkumbh on Pune-Solapur highway about 74km from Pune on Sunday evening. The Pune Rural police have identified the father-and-son duo as Kandu Bansude and Rudra of Palasdev in Indapur taluka. The accident happened when the duo was heading towards Solapur. The container driver did not stop after the accident. A case registered against an unknown driver with the Daund police. TNN
