New Delhi: Police have arrested Aqil Khan, father of a DU student, in connection with a staged acid attack in Bharat Nagar, northwest Delhi. Police said Khan was arrested from jail, where he was previously lodged in a rape case. He allegedly staged the attack to frame the husband of the rape survivor. “Khan is the main conspirator and instructed his daughter to stage the attack,” police said.
