NEW DELHI: Actor and engineer Sachin Chandwade, known for his role in ‘Jamtara 2’ and upcoming Marathi projects, has died by suicide at his home in Parola, Jalgaon, according to media reports. He was 25.Chandwade was reportedly found hanging from a ceiling fan. He was first taken to a private hospital in his native village Undirkhede, where his condition deteriorated. His family later shifted him to a hospital in Dhule, but despite doctors’ efforts, he passed away around 1.30am on October 24.A native of Jalgaon district, Sachin balanced two contrasting careers — working as a software engineer at an IT Park in Pune while pursuing his passion for acting.Just days before his death, he had shared the poster of his upcoming Marathi film ‘Asurvan’, in which he played the lead role alongside Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare. The film is slated for release later this year.
