This dedicated, private space is designed to provide nursing mothers on campus with comfort and privacy, addressing a crucial need for women balancing motherhood with their academic and professional pursuits. The inauguration ceremony was graced by a new mother from the IIT Delhi community, symbolising the real-life impact of this initiative.Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, reiterated the institute’s commitment to creating a campus culture that values diversity, inclusion, and well-being. This initiative was made possible through CSR support from Shorthills AI, a global technology company specialising in data and generative AI services, which is dedicated to driving inclusive change.Paramdeep Singh, co-founder of Shorthills AI and an alumnus of IIT Delhi, expressed his enthusiasm for giving back to the institution.
