It decides where the main furniture – especially bed, desk, and stove – should be placed in the house or workplace so that one always feels safe and controlled.

Commanding status means just a place or position, any of which feels comfortable and in control of someone’s environment. When sitting or lying down in any room, the door should be within your sight. This makes you feel alert and secure, as you know who is entering and when.
While it’s important to be visible to the door, sitting or sleeping directly in front of it is not advisable. Doing so directly impacts the energy and causes discomfort. It’s better to be slightly off-center, but within sight of the door.
