Mumbai: A 36-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after part of a compound wall collapsed during a private building redevelopment in Santacruz West Wednesday afternoon.The incident occurred on Juhu Tara Road around 12:41pm. The falling wall struck a nearby coconut tree, which toppled on to the pedestrian.The injured woman, identified as Saloni Chavan, was immediately rushed to Cooper Hospital. According to civic authorities, Chavan suffered a head injury and was sent for a CT scan. She has been admitted to the ICU for further treatment.
