PUNE: The Pune customs at the Lohegaon airport, on Thursday, intercepted one passenger arriving on an Air India Express flight from Bangkok (IX-241) and recovered 5.23kgs of a white substance which was in form of crystals and powder. During analysis, the said substance was found to be Methaqualone. The same is a recreational drug. The contraband was seized and the person was arrested under the NDPS Act. Further investigations were on, customs authorities said. The drug is worth Rs. 2.61 crore in the illicit market, officials said.
