After India’s successful third-place showing at the CAFA Nations Cup, national men’s football team head coach Khalid Jamil has named a 30-member probables squad that includes star player Sunil Chhetri for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Singapore.The national team will begin their preparatory camp in Bengaluru on September 20, with players arriving one day earlier.Selected players from Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa will join the squad after completing their AFC Champions League 2 commitments.Additionally, five players have been placed on standby – two from the U23 men’s national team and three senior players. Their identities will be revealed later.The training camp will help the Blue Tigers prepare for their Group C matches in the 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers final round.
