Boycott Calls Grow Against India-Pakistan T20 Asia Cup Match After Pahalgam Victim Family’s Appeal

New Delhi: Protesting the upcoming Asia Cup T20 match between India and Pakistan, AAP Delhi convener Saurabh Bharadwaj asked why BJP govt at the Centre was allowing it while Operation Sindoor was still on, calling the game a “humiliation” of the Pahalgam terror victims.On X, AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal also questioned the need for the match and asked if it was being organised under US Donald Trump’s pressure. No reaction was available from BJP.Bharadwaj alleged that some Pakistani cricketers were sharing an image on social media, which humiliated the women who had lost their husbands in the Pahalgam attack. He said AAP would expose clubs, pubs and restaurants screening it on Sunday, “so that people stop going to these outlets”.The AAP functionary, along with party workers, also burnt an effigy symbolising Pakistani players.
