MUMBAI: A mini-bus that had ventured onto Gorai beach on Monday morning got stuck in the water after the tide came in. The driver managed to get out of the vehicle but the mini-bus remains stuck in water.Vehicles are not allowed on city beaches. Gorai Police are in the process of registering an FIR against the driver.Police said certain bungalows located alongside the Gorai beach have a rear entrance from the beach side. The mini-bus dropped off some people at these bungalows on Monday morning.Around 10 am, the driver was making his way out of the beach when the tide came in and the vehicle got stuck in the water. The driver got out and sought help from locals who fastened the vehicle with ropes.No casualties were reported. “We questioned the driver and will register a case against him for causing danger to life,” said an officer from Gorai Police.
