New Delhi: A 45-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a speeding Thar driven by an allegedly drunk driver in central Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar on Sunday morning.According to police, the accident occurred near the Shiv Shakti Mandir on Shankar Road around 9 am. “The victim, Gunjan Luthra, was riding a white Scooty when the Thar hit him from behind. Luthra fell on the road and suffered severe head injuries,” a senior police officer said. .The driver of the Thar, 24-year-old Tushar of Karol Bagh, next collided with a parked car. “A person on the spot said he saw the Thar speeding before it hit the Scooty and the other car,” the officer added.Passersby managed to catch Tushar. He was arrested on the spot.
