The officer said all seven had recently completed their studies and came to Pune for three months for apprenticeship with a firm. “They reached the fort on Monday afternoon for trekking. While climbing the fort, they left the usual trekking route. They were stuck at a spot, which had become slippery following consistent rain. It took two hours for the rescue teams to spot and bring them down.”Missing man from Hyderabad foundA 24-year-old man from Hyderabad, who had gone missing from Sinhagad Fort on Aug 20, was found on Sunday night, inspector Sachin Wangade of the Haveli police said.“His friends had told the police that he might have fallen from the cliff. We checked the CCTV footage, which showed the man running,” Wangade said on Monday.The officer said CCTV footage on the fort showed the man had a beard and moustache and was wearing a yellow raincoat. “But when the man was found, he was clean-shaven and wearing a light blue coloured raincoat. He is currently admitted to a private hospital and is out of danger. He is, however, not cooperating with police in the questioning,” Wangade said.
