MUMBAI: Mumbai police have increased security at actor-comedian Kapil Sharma‘s residence following two firing incidents at his restaurant in Canada within the past month.Joint commissioner of police (law and order) Satya Narayan Chaudhari confirmed the enhanced security measures for the actor following the firing incident. He, though, declined to comment on the type of security provided.A police officer said they are taking “utmost precaution to safeguard and no harm can be inflicted on the actor or his family”.Following the firing incident at Sharma’s restaurant, Kap’s Cafe, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang accepted responsibility for the incident. A gang member issued a statement claiming that the attack was due to Sharma’s alleged proximity to actor Salman Khan.
