Boy gets stuck between walls, rescued

Pune: The fire brigade officials on Tuesday afternoon rescued a seven-year-old boy after cutting portions of two walls of adjoining housing societies on the Jambhulwadi road.According to the city fire brigade officials, the boy and his friends from the Govind Besil society on the Jambhulwadi road were playing cricket on the terrace of the building during their summer vacation.Around 3pm, the ball went into the gap between the walls of the two housing societies. The boy, Ranvir (7), decided to fetch the ball by climbing down in that space.He climbed down and got stuck between the two walls before he could fetch the ball. The boys on the terrace raised an alarm. Local residents then called the fire brigade.
