A digitally remastered version of the late legendary director Balu Mahendra’s Moondram Pirai, the 1982 hit classic romance drama starring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi, is all set to premiere on Prime Video on May 1. Considered as one of the greatest Tamil films of all time, Moondram Pirai catapulted its director-cinematographer and actors to fame.
G Thyagarajan’s Sathya Jyothi Films, the banner that bankrolled the film, announced the news on X on Thursday (April 30).
