Pune:Nanded City police have registered a case of criminal intimidation and defamation against a 23-year-old man who works with a private company, after he uploaded his friend’s objectionable pictures on a social media site.A 23-year-old man from Dhayari, who too works with a private company as a helper, lodged a complaint against his friend on Sunday.Senior inspector Atul Bhos of Nanded City police said, “The two are good friends and the suspect stays in Bibvewadi.”Police said that on March 25, the two friends had an argument, following which the Bibvewadi-based friend uploaded old photographs of the complainant on social media sites and also published his phone number with the photographs. The text stated that the complainant was involved in flesh trade. Following this, the complainant started receiving obscene calls repeatedly.
