Navi Mumbai: A day before the mayoral election of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) scheduled on Feb 5, all 65 elected corporators of BJP and one Independent corporator have been shifted to an undisclosed location to prevent poaching by the rival Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, that has also submitted nomination for the two top posts, as per a source.It is reliably learnt that all 66 corporators have been taken along under pretext of a get-together and they will be directly coming to NMMC headquarters on Thursday at 11am to vote for BJP’s Mayor and Deputy Mayor candidates Sujata Patil and Dashrath Bhagat, respectively.
