Mumbai: Malad police arrested five men for stealing MTNL cables. Senior inspector Dushyant Chavan was passing by a Charkop road when he noticed about 25 people on the footpath, behind a tempo. He went over to enquire. The men started to flee, prompting police to chase and nab them. Inside the tempo, police found 80-90 pieces of 10ft long MTNL cables and three large cutters. TNN
