Navi Mumbai: Four residents of Navi Mumbai have been booked by Kharghar and Taloja police for renting out their apartments to Nigerian nationals without submitting the mandatory C-form, an online notification that property owners must submit with details of the foreigner’s passport, visa and stay information while renting out their apartment to a foreigner tenant.The offence has been registered against the accused landlords after surprise checks were conducted by the crime branch teams. Accordingly, all four accused landlords have been booked under relevant sections of Foreigners Act, 1946 and Registration of Foreigners Act, 1939.
