NEW DELHI: At least three people died and three others were injured after a massive fire erupted at a polythene factory near Delhi’s Rithala Metro Station on Tuesday evening, according to the Delhi Police on Wednesday. DFS chief Atul Garg said the incident was reported around 7:25 pm from a premises located near Rithala Metro Station.16 fire tenders were dispatched to the location to combat the blaze. Firefighting operations are currently underway at the site, with authorities working to bring the situation under control.
