Pune: The Yerawada police detained and released 14 members of a right-wing organisation for protesting in front of a pub in Kalyaninagar around 9.30pm claiming that its management arranged a Pakistani singer’s programme.Senior inspector Ravindra Shelke of the Yerawada police station said, “They gathered in front of the pub when the programme was going on. Our team reached the spot to avert any law and order situation. We took information about the singer and informed the protesters that he was from The Netherlands and not from Pakistan. When they did not listen to us, we detained 14 members and took them to the police station. They were released later.”
